The Branco Peres Group holds an advantageous position in the domestic sugar-cane market with modern cultivation techniques and a relevant entrepreneurial awareness of environmental conservation.

Total verticalization of the process has been accomplished in this segment. The final product, whether alcohol or by-products, comes from plantations and properties of the Group.

From sugar-cane are produced anhydrous and hydrated alcohols, clean fuels used by a large part of the Brazilian vehicle fleet.

Within the Group’s organization, by-products of this process are completely reused, such as bagasse of hydrolyzed sugar-cane which serves as cattle feed and fertilizer for cane fields.
